Three weeks ago, I went on my annual Alpine Furniture. business trip through southeast Asia. This years travels took me to Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia.
My business trips are usually really quick and don’t include any free time to sight see or take pictures. I was determined to not let that happen again this year.
On my last day in Vietnam, I was able to take a few street shots while on my way to the airport.
In Jakarta, Indonesia, I finally had a day to go out and sight see. Unfortunately with the traffic there, I was only able to hit up two spots, the Monas in Jakarta and Botanical Gardens in Bogor.

Two weeks is a long time to be away from my beautiful wife. Thank goodness for Skype!
Kaitlyn’s 1st Birthday
Two weeks ago, Karen and I went to Camarillo to celebrate Kaitlyn’s 1st birthday. It was great to hang out with the Wu’s and to finally get to visit their beautiful new home. The party was filled with little ones running around and was a perfect opportunity to take some children’s portrait shots.
